When you submit the sailboat finder questionnaire, we collect your email address (required) and name (optional), along with your questionnaire answers. We do not collect any payment information, and we do not track you across other websites.
We use your email address solely to follow up on your sailboat enquiry with personalised recommendations from our team. Your questionnaire answers are used internally to understand what kind of boat you are looking for. We will never send you unsolicited marketing, and we will never sell your data to third parties.
Your data is stored in Supabase (supabase.com), a secure database provider. We use Resend (resend.com) to send you and our team email notifications. Neither service sells your data. No other third parties have access to your personal information.
We retain your data for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry, and for a maximum of 2 years after your last interaction with us. You can request deletion at any time.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, or to unsubscribe from any follow-up emails, contact us at hello@boatoverlap.com. We will respond within 30 days.
BoatOverlap does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If we use analytics (e.g. Plausible or Vercel Analytics), it is privacy-friendly, cookieless, and GDPR-compliant by default.
